Would you by any chance like a small, cosy dog bed? I bought it for my schnauzer but she is VERY too big for it. It's quite enclosed. It's new but way too small for my dog. I don't want money for it; I would just like it to go to a good home and make a small dog happy. My twitter account is locked, so I can't contact you there as you wouldn't see my tweet. :-) My email address is Snuva.tas.au AT gmail.comSnuvahttp://snuva.tasgeocaching.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3025810385129732491.post-28956925246634872232013-04-27T16:55:26.752+10:002013-04-27T16:55:26.752+10:00Hey Lucy,

A copy of the finished thesis will be stored in the art school library, and I'll be putting an electronic copy on UTAS's e-prints.

In terms of Tasmanian examples, you might want to look at the Port Arthur (2007) and Trust (2009) projects, which were large scale exhibitions that responded to historic sites. The Trust sites were house museums around the state, such as Clarendon, Home Hill, and Runnymede. You might want to check out Michael Goldberg's website. He's done a number of really interesting art projects in a range of museums, from historic houses to natural history museums.

Good luck with your presentation.Lucyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14606784865702317737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3025810385129732491.post-88145442155058704632012-09-19T13:33:19.365+10:002012-09-19T13:33:19.365+10:00Hi Lucy,

My idea is to introduce grade six students to site specific art, exploring a range of examples from local to global. I hadn't really thought of the gallery as being site specific. I was thinking along the lines of public art so this would add a further dimension. I enjoyed reading about how you discovered a connection to cultural norms. It's all very interesting. Your thesis looks like it is full of good research and I would be interested in reading some of it, if you think it may relate to what I'm preparing.
Regards, KylaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3025810385129732491.post-25074931859917839182012-07-05T08:07:57.565+10:002012-07-05T08:07:57.565+10:00Beezley gets a big mention on New Scientist, that&...Beezley gets a big mention on New Scientist, that's two Cockatoo Is piece I read this morning.meikahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17410659353169461214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3025810385129732491.post-65793829337552203812012-03-22T17:10:19.582+11:002012-03-22T17:10:19.582+11:00Yeah, I'm friends with Laura. The idea that an artist showing a tragic event or a killer somehow celebrates that is so far from the mark.
